The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides basic patient care and support services under the supervision of licensed nursing staff within a hospital setting. The CNA assists patients with activities of daily living, supports clinical workflows, and helps maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Responsibilities may include monitoring and reporting patient conditions, assisting with mobility and personal care, documenting care activities, and collaborating with members of the healthcare team. The CNA plays an essential role in supporting patient comfort, safety, and overall quality of care while contributing to the mission and standards of the hospital.
