The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides basic nursing care and clinical support to patients under the direction of registered nurses, physicians, and other licensed providers within a Hospital environment. The LPN assists in the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care to a diverse patient population in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards of practice.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient status, performing routine clinical tasks, assisting with treatments and procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting care coordination activities. The LPN collaborates with members of the healthcare team and contributes to a positive clinical environment while supporting the overall mission of the medical center.
